Film Project: Occam’s Razor

Nearly two years ago, Montreal filmmaker Matthew Saliba (VAMPYROS LESBOS, SHE WAS ASKING FOR IT) launched a feature-length anthology project entitled “Frankenstein Unlimited” and composed of six independently produced short films by young Montreal filmmakers all using the themes of the original Frankenstein novel as inspiration.  I had the pleasure to work with director Peter James, a long time friend and film-making partner, on developing and producing one of the shorts: “Occam’s Razor”.  The film was shot on four days over the span of two weeks, and features mesmerizing performances from a wonderful cast.

What HD video camera should I buy?

Your choice of video camera will depend on the needs of your business.  If you’re shooting corporate video for internal communications, your decision will probably differ from that of a creative videographer.  When it comes to high quality video, there are currently two main avenues you can take: Camcorder or DSLR.

Good looking pictures in Word 2008

We are often reluctant to include images in a word doc because it can take away from our work if it looks ugly.  Word 2008 has some great tools for making your pictures fit into your document very nicely.  You can scale, crop, add borders and effects with just a few clicks.
